Hey John,

We wanted to take a minute today to make sure you saw yesterday’s big news -- the bill that Colin co-sponsored aiming to lower prescription drug prices passed the House!

The House took a major step in the fight to lower prescription drugs. This is a huge win for America and a huge win for Texans. Now we need to put pressure on Mitch McConnell to take action in the Senate. Join us in urging Mitch and the Senate to act now.

Subject: Tell the Senate: PASS our bill to lower prescription drugs costs

Hi John,

Today we wrapped a busy day of voting, and I am excited to inform you that H.R. 3, a bill that aims to bring down the cost of prescription drugs, has PASSED.

I was proud to lead on this as a co-sponsor of this bill that will provide relief to so many North Texans who rely on medications that they can’t afford because of high costs.

However, our fight is certainly not over, and now I need your help:

It’s time to put pressure on Mitch McConnell and DEMAND he take action to lower drug costs . Join us in urging action to be taken now. >>

Our drug prices are significantly higher than the rest of the developed world and the financial burden continues to fall on us. While Big Pharma continues to rake in oodles of cash from hard-working, everyday Americans, those same Americans are forced to decide between their life-saving drugs and things like food or house payments. This must change.

Let’s send a message to Mitch McConnell that we need to take action now. Stand with us by signing your name to support lowering Rx prices today. >>

Thanks for standing with us on this critical issue.
- Colin
