Since launching our paid canvassing program earlier this week, our canvassers have already reached 2,649 doors in neighborhoods across Missouri’s First District.
Did you know it takes about seven encounters with a potential voter to gain their trust and earn their vote? That means we have no time to waste. Our campaign isn’t waiting for the summer of 2020 to get going - we’re starting now!
Each canvasser reaches about 12.5 doors per hour. That's a huge and direct impact on our ultimate goal: to reach all the voters we need to win.
We’re SO proud to be paying our canvassers a LIVING WAGE of $17.50/hour. More than just a number, this hourly rate demonstrates our commitment to fight for the dignity of a living wage for all Americans, and this starts right here on our own doorstep.
