Midterm Election Update
August 16, 2022

Good Morning Team Tim Scott!
Today I want to help us renew our focus for the midterms by talking about why our efforts are important. Not only for this coming November, but for the future of this great nation.
The story of my grandfather is an example. He grew up in the Jim Crow South and never had a chance to learn how to read. But in his lifetime, he saw his grandson do more than read and write. He watched his grandson grow up in that same country to become a United States Senator, and it is the honor of a lifetime.
As of this morning, our financial team informed me that we JUST missed our mid-month goal for August by about 2,000 donors, but I have confidence in our supporters! I believe we can make this happen if we extend the deadline one more time.
Every day, the stakes get higher and higher. The change we can make by taking back the Senate in this election, no matter how small, will have INCREDIBLE implications for the next generation of Americans.
Just as my grandfather lived to see a bunch of seemingly small changes add up to a better America than the one he grew up in, we can be part of a significant change in this election if we endure.
And if my grandfather's wildest dreams can come true in this nation in his lifetime, imagine what we can accomplish together if we keep the faith!
I am honored to have such an incredible team and the most amazing supporters.
