John,
It’s Janet Mills, the Governor of Maine, and I’m coming to you directly to ask for your support in my competitive election, and here’s why: [[link removed]]
We’ve made tremendous progress in Maine since I first took office three years ago – like expanding health care, strengthening our economy, defending reproductive rights, and keeping the people of Maine safe.
But here’s the catch. This is a competitive race because Maine’s elections have always been decided within razor-thin margins. FiveThirtyEight says this is one of the most likely seats to flip, and we know that the Republicans Governors Association is going to pull out all the stops to win. What we do today will prove to be crucial to our chances of winning this November.
We can’t let my extreme opponent win and lose all of our hard-fought progress.
With so much at stake in this election, it’s crucial that Democrats keep up our momentum as we get closer and closer to the election. That’s why I’m turning to supporters like you.
I’m asking you to split a contribution between CommonGood and me to help win this tough race. Your donation of $25 or whatever you can give today will be critical to keep moving Maine forward. [[link removed]]
