Today is one of those days we have to ask you directly to make a contribution to Gavin Newsom’s re-election campaign.

Let us be as honest as we can about why this request is so important.

As you know, California is a large and expensive state when it comes to elections.

And our job is to turn out as many Democrats as we possibly can in every part of this state.

We need to turn them out to re-elect Governor Newsom.

We need to turn them out to pass a constitutional amendment protecting abortion rights in California.

We need to turn them out because it could be the difference in close local races far-right Republicans are trying to win.

So while we have raised a good amount of money, we still have fundraising goals we need to reach in order to do what we have to do this November.

No part of the state can be left behind, there is too much at stake in our race, and in contests up and down the ballot. So please:
