1. J.D. Vance and National Republicans are up on TV in Ohio with a seven-figure ad buy.


2. Big Pharma is promising to retaliate against Democrats in tough races who voted to lower prescription drug costs -- retaliation in the form of big-budget ad buys. Big Pharma is one of the most powerful special-interest groups out there with “all the tools of modern political advocacy at their disposal.”

And that’s just the latest big money to pour in. There are three more months for Vance, Washington Republicans, and special interests to dump money into the field.
