Yesterday, we set a goal to raise $15,000 by tonight's mid-month fundraising deadline — and as of 3:45 PM ET we're falling short.
Our fundraising goals are never arbitrary. Each month our fundraising team sits down and takes a hard look at the needs of our campaign and our upcoming expenses like tv and digital advertising, office supplies, and canvassing tools.
Our $15,000 mid-month goal is exactly how much we need to raise to stay on track with our August projections. With Election Day only 85 days away, we can't miss any fundraising goals, so we're hoping this grassroots team will step up to help make up the difference before midnight.

John, everyone will be watching to see our post-primary fundraising numbers because our movement is going up against the far-right wave that has been attacking Cori since she first ran for Congress.
Republican donors were already funding attacks against Cori during the primary election, and they won't be slowing down anytime soon. It would be easy to dismiss this challenge, but that would be a serious mistake.
We need the resources to fight back against GOP attacks, build our campaign, and reach voters across the district. What we're able to raise before tonight's midnight deadline will have a direct impact on the results of Election Day, so we're counting on grassroots supporters to help our people-powered movement hit $15,000 in time.
