Right now, the stakes couldn't be higher. GOP governors across the country are restricting and even banning abortion in states where they’re in power.

That’s why I’m making this promise to you, team: As long as I’m Governor of New Mexico, reproductive rights will always be protected.

But with a far-right, anti-choice candidate running against me, I need your help to make sure I can keep that promise.

So I’m asking you to step up and join the fight right now. Last year, I signed a bill to decriminalize abortion in New Mexico and protect reproductive rights. And after Roe was overturned, I signed an executive order protecting medical providers and individuals from far-right attacks.

And I’m not the only Democratic governor fighting back.

In Michigan, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer filed a lawsuit and used her executive authority to urge the Michigan Supreme Court to ensure Michigan’s arcane 1931 ban never goes back into effect. And in Nevada and Illinois, my fellow Dem govs signed legislation guaranteeing the right to an abortion in their states.

We’ve made progress to protect our states, but the GOP will stop at nothing to defeat governors like me – and it has already raked in a record-breaking $108 MILLION to do it.

Here in New Mexico, a Trump-style Republican, Mark Ronchetti, who denies basic climate science, refuses to condemn white supremacist groups, and wants to ban abortion is running against me.

So I'm counting on grassroots supporters like you to chip in right now. It’s only through donors like you that we have the resources to compete with the GOP and win in New Mexico, Georgia, Michigan, and other battleground states across the country.
