During the closing segment of the show, he disregarded scientific evidence and disrespected people of higher weights, adding to the already prevalent crisis of weight bias. As the OAC plans to fight back against these harmful and hurtful comments, please remember that obesity IS a chronic disease and IS NOT a moral failing. New research conducted by the University of Pittsburgh found that the chances of marriage or divorce can double after weight-loss surgery, suggesting the surgery alters the way patients engage in their relationships.
