Hi John!

I’m one of the newest team members over at Maine Dems; I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and tell you a little bit more about why I joined this team.

Before I started this role, I had never worked in politics. But politics was still part of my life, just like it is for so many other Mainers. I’ve always wanted to make Maine an even better place; this role gives me that chance.

As Development Director, it’s my job to make sure that the Maine Democratic Party is able to launch initiatives like our Voter Protection Program and new organizing efforts statewide. If you’re able to, I’d appreciate it if you could make a donation towards our mid-month goals to support these efforts.

Right now, Paul LePage is a serious threat to the Maine we know and love. And he’s not the only one — the Maine GOP has abandoned any semblance of actual policy platform to focus on waging a dangerous culture war instead.

I joined this team because I know how important this moment is. We have a big fight this November, and the stakes are too high to leave anything to chance. I knew it would be all hands on deck to keep extremism out of Maine and I wanted to step up to the next level.
