During the pandemic, the essential nature of broadband in Colorado was clear and became more visible: those without it lacked access to health care, education, and economic opportunities.
A century ago delivering electricity to everyone, wherever they lived, was deemed essential. Today, those without access to broadband cannot participate fully and equally in our modern economy or access essential services. Over the last 20 years, I’ve made it a priority – both in Colorado and at the national level – to fight for access to broadband. |
To protect Coloradans during the pandemic, our team took action to compel T-Mobile to provide free hotspots to students lacking broadband connections. I also led a bipartisan coalition with other AGs to fight for federal support for broadband access in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act–and we prevailed.
I’m running for a second term as Attorney General because we have more work to do. Please share this video with your networks and consider a campaign contribution to help us continue this important work. |
