Together we have all the right elements for a successful campaign.

During this election, we won the primary, received endorsements from so many groups and people in Washington, and have been fighting for policies that Washingtonians need.

One of these policies is the Inflation Reduction Act. This is a historic piece of legislation that lowers the cost of prescription drugs, health coverage, and energy. The Senate passed this crucial legislation but only by a tie-breaking vote by Vice President Kamala Harris. It is now heading to the President’s desk after a 220-207 passing vote in the House.

Life changing legislation like this is why we need to keep fighting for our Democratic majority. Last month, FiveThirtyEight projected our loss in the House and we simply cannot let that happen. Historic bills like the Inflation Reduction Act barely passed the Senate, John we have to do more. I need your help to secure my seat in the House and help me fight to keep our majority in Congress. These projections are a wake up call but are not definitive. We still have time to push back John.
