I'd like to thank every one of you who took the time to make your voice heard by taking my survey. As your State Rep, I work for you so your feedback on these issues is greatly appreciated. The survey is still open, but I wanted to share the initial results with you.

So far, healthcare has been the issue that people are most concerned about. To say I understand, might be a slight understatement.

My son Colton was diagnosed at birth with a rare genetic bleeding disorder, then with leukemia at 16 months old. The unique challenges we faced compelled me to become a statewide and national advocate for families like ours, and eventually run for office.

At the Statehouse I've sponsored several bills to address the issues surrounding healthcare in our State.

I've sponsored a bill to protect coverage for pre-existing conditions.

I'm working to create an advisory council on rare diseases (like my son's bleeding disorder).
