As a National League of Cities Board Member, Derek comes together every year with colleagues from across the country to discuss the similar challenges we all face in our cities. This year’s conference was held in Atlanta, where Councilmember Green had the opportunity to represent the residents of the City of Philadelphia on the national level.

This month, Councilmember Green also joined the officers of the 24th Police District on a late night ride along through various parts of our city, including open air drug markets in Kensington.
