It's official: Next week the house will formally -- finally -- vote on impeachment. The debate this week (and the President's conduct since the very first day he took office) made it clear that there isn't anything that will deter him from additional wrongdoing as long as he's in office.

There is no other option. We're at the end of this road. The only way to stop Donald Trump from abusing his office is to remove him from it.

This president has violated our Constitution and our conscience almost daily - not just by obstructing justice and inviting foreign interference in our election, but by profiting off the presidency, encouraging political violence, endangering us all with egomaniacal posturing, attacking the free press, giving comfort to white supremacists, tearing apart families and throwing them in cages.

This president has abused our country's trust, he's broken our laws, and he's made it abundantly clear that he intends to keep doing it.

Impeachment is the only remaining option that we, the people, have to defend the integrity of our democracy.
