Folks,

I’m going to ask you to chip in toward our campaign’s important mid-quarter fundraising goal in just a moment. [[link removed]] But first I want to share why your contribution makes a difference in our work for New Mexicans and folks across the country.

My dad was an immigrant, union lineman, and my mom was a factory worker:

My parents taught me that anything should be possible in our country as long as you work hard and play by the rules.

That philosophy guides my work every day. It’s why I fought so hard to get the Inflation Reduction Act across the finish line. This bill will help even the playing field for Americans — reducing prescription drug prices, making corporations pay their fair share, and putting money back in people’s pockets who electrify their homes and vehicles to do right by our planet.

My parents’ guidance is also why our campaign puts so much time and effort into electing strong Democrats up and down the ballot. Our majorities in Congress and the White House have delivered the Inflation Reduction Act and the American Rescue Plan.

But we also need leaders at the state and local level who will secure what their communities and our planet need. Our state and local leaders are at the front lines of our fights to boost the economy, protect reproductive rights, and preserve our lands and waters for future generations.

That’s why I endorse dozens of candidates each year at every level of government who have what it takes to deliver.

None of this would be possible without your support. That brings me back to that ask I mentioned:
