Dear John,
Thank you, Nevada!
On Saturday, more than 1,500 patriots came to Corley Ranch in Gardnerville for the 7th Annual Basque Fry, to celebrate our conservative principles and get ready to turn Nevada RED this November.
From the way it went, Nevada conservatives are ready to meet that challenge.
The event was simply amazing — from the location, to the weather, to the food, to the great live music provided by the Jakota Wass Band, to our incredible lineup of all-star speakers.
We want to extend our deepest thanks to U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, former Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts, best-selling conservative author and commentator Kurt Schlichter, and former acting U.S. Attorney General Matthew Whitaker for helping to make this such an unforgettable day.
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem were among those who gave inspiring speeches at Saturday’s 7th Annual Basque Fry.
We also want to thank Mark Estee and his team at Liberty Food and Wine for providing yet another delicious meal this year. We want to thank all the good folks at Corley Ranch for being such gracious hosts once again. We want to thank our generous sponsors for their support. And we want to thank all of our hard-working volunteers, whose dedication is what allows the event to run so smoothly each year.
But most of all, we want to thank you.
The Basque Fry truly is a one-of-a-kind experience here in our Silver State — and it’s the wonderful Nevadans like you who attend each year that make it so special.
This year was no exception — and many people, including those in the press, are taking note of what a success Saturday’s event was.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that, “Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada, a who’s who of conservative leaders and local advocates called on voters to ‘vote Republican up and down the ballot’ in November at what KOH Radio’s Dan Mason called ‘the biggest political event in the state.’”
Added the Reno Gazette-Journal: “About 1,500 conservatives attended the seventh annual Basque Fry on a sunny Saturday outside Gardnerville, listening to live music, eating, drinking and getting inspiration from Republican speakers such as South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem and Texas U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz.”
And KTVN (Channel 2-Reno) spoke to one of this year’s attendees, who noted: “I was at the very first Basque Fry 7 years ago, standing here as men and women who love freedom.”
We’re certainly grateful to that individual — and everyone else who attended on Saturday — for being back for this year’s Basque Fry and making it our best yet.
As you know, the Basque Fry is more than just a day of fun and food — it’s also an event that supports our mission here at Morning in Nevada PAC, which is to identify, educate, motivate and activate citizens in Nevada to advance conservative causes and elect conservative candidates. And as you’re also well aware, that mission is more critical today than ever.
So thank you, once again, not only for joining us at this year’s Basque Fry, but for standing with us in this fight for Nevada’s future.
We hope you enjoyed this day as much as we did.
And we hope that like us, you’re already looking forward to being back at Corley Ranch again next year!
Until then, thank you, and God bless you.
Sincerely,
Morning in Nevada PAC
