Senate Democrats have spent August delivering results for working families.

The PACT Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act have all been passed in the last two weeks thanks to the hard work of my colleagues and support from people like you.

This legislation will have a real impact on issues facing people across Illinois. Veterans will receive better health care, the economy is going to get stronger, and prescriptions will become more affordable.

If Republicans succeed in their attempts to flip the Senate this November, we could lose this progress. There is still work ahead of us to be done, but Mitch McConnell’s GOP would rather play politics than make policy.
