Yesterday, we got news of a big endorsement! Sunrise Movement, a national youth-led climate organization that is on the front lines of the climate fight, has endorsed in our race. 

Here in the Texas 10th, we have been dealing with toxic pollution from coal ash and fracking, and five “500 year floods” in five years. We need to build a national movement to build a sustainable economy—for our planet and our future—and Sunrise will be a big part of that.

Sunrise Movement is a leader in our fight against climate change, and I am honored to work with them to enact a Green New Deal in Congress. As a father of two young children, I am working hard to leave a safe and prosperous future for them. I am honored to be working towards a green economy and healthy planet with the future leaders of this country.
