Texas Values’ Open Record Requests Reveal Drag Queen Shockers

Texas Values recently submitted open records requests to Austin and Willis Independent School Districts after reports of drag queens being allowed on school campuses. The results are in and are shocking for parents and concerned citizens. In Austin, it was discovered that David Richardson, a.k.a. ‘Miss Kitty Litter ATX’ texted Blackshear Elementary School librarian Roger Grape that he was concerned whether or not he would pass the school background check. ‘Miss Kitty Litter’ texted, “So the guidelines for submission automatically disqualify me if the deferred adjudication for prostitution is considered a conviction . . . so I don’t know if ethical to submit.” But the school still admitted him into the school. Texas Values President Jonathan Saenz talked with Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins on Washington Watch about this outrageous situation this week.

In Willis ISD, a drag queen stage named ‘Lynn Adonis’, whose real name was revealed to be Jerred Bridges after the school initially refused to release his name, visited a cosmetology class as a guest speaker. According to an email from the Willis High School cosmetology teacher, the teacher concedes to the fact that Jerred Bridges is an entertainer and not a licensed cosmetologist. Jerred Bridges was allowed to make physical contact with students by applying makeup to them, despite having no license to do so. We are committed to leading the fight against the outrageous attacks on students’ safety and parental rights. Schools should be a safe space for students to learn and not a stage for adult entertainers.

Oppose ‘Fairness for All’ Act

You should have heard about the horrendous Nancy Pelosi supported, radical LGBT “Equality Act” which is a direct attack on people of faith. Last week, a Republican member of the U.S. House introduced a so called “compromise” bill called the “Fairness for All” Act. This “compromise” is dangerous and will erase many of the religious freedom gains we have worked so hard for in Texas. Take action today to contact your U.S. Congressman.

Houston Election Endorsements

Tomorrow, Saturday, December 14 is Runoff Election Day for many local governments, including the City of Houston.
