Hello YDO members,
We are holding a General Membership Meeting (Hybrid) on Sunday, August 21st at 11 am PT during the 3rd Quarter SCC weekend at The Churchill High School in Eugene, Oregon and via Zoom. We will be holding a special election to fill the newly vacated Vice Chair and Treasurer positions, as well as go over other YDO businesses. A Zoom link will be sent out closer to the meeting. Interested in running?
1. Nominations: During the meeting, we will ask for nominations for each position. You can nominate yourself, or ask a friend to join you at the meeting and they can nominate you.
2. Speeches: You will want to prepare a 2-3 minute speech for whichever position you are running for. We would recommend introducing yourself, your background and what you are interested in working on within the Young Democrats of Oregon.
