[1]Alessandra Biaggi - Democrat for Congress

I'm writing to ask you to make a contribution — of $3 or anything you can — to my campaign for Congress. I hope you'll give me a chance to explain why this request is so important, especially tonight.

Here's the truth,:

Right now, there are just 9 days to go in this primary, and over the past week, hundreds of thousands of dollars from right-wing and dark money super PACs has poured into this race in support of my opponent.

The corporate and political establishment are pulling out all the stops to try and defeat our progressive movement, and right now we need your support to make sure our message isn't drowned out here in the final days of this race.

That's why I need to ask:

Can you please make a contribution to our grassroots campaign for Congress tonight? Every dollar will go directly toward fighting back against the surge of super PAC spending that's entered this primary.

There are a LOT of differences between the kind of campaign we're running, and the one my opponent is running. One of those differences I'm most proud of is how our campaigns are funded.

We're funding this thing the right way — no corporate PACs, no right-wing dark money, just a grassroots movement of real people standing together in solidarity and fighting for change.

My opponent may have six-figure checks from Trump-endorsing super PACs, but we have you, and we have each other. That's the power of a grassroots movement, and it's why we're going to win.

Sincerely, thank you for being a part of this team. And thank you for adding a contribution today if you can.

- Alessandra
