For months our fundraising has been trending in the wrong direction. June was our worst fundraising month of the year. July was on track to be even worse, so we reached out to you all for help.

You turned it around for us right when we needed it most, ahead of our early August primaries. Thanks to you, we were able to help most of our candidates through to the general election.

But this month fundraising has slowed way down again, and as we approach the halfway point of August, we’ve brought in only 27% of the funds we must raise this month.

Our final primaries are just around the corner on August 23rd, including three of our BNC representatives up for reelection.

After August 23rd we need to gear up for the general election.

There’s a lot on the line in November. Not only is it vital that Republicans not be allowed to regain control of Congress, the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act proves that we need MORE bold progressive voices in Congress – including our first BNC Senator, Charles Booker.

So John, I need you to pitch in whatever you can spare today to help us turn this fundraising trend around, because we can’t go into the Fall with one hand tied behind our back.

I know times are tough for a lot of people right now. So if you’re not in a position to give, I understand, and all of us at BNC are grateful to have you on the team to cheer our candidates on and help promote the progressive values we’re fighting for.
