Democrats Pass Far-Left Spending Bill

Dear Texans,

While Americans deal with the hardships of an economic recession, House Democrats have doubled down on their failed tax increase and Green New Deal agenda. Their plan is a direct attack on Main Street America and appeals to far-left climate activists at the expense of entrepreneurs and job creators.

From expanding the IRS by 87,000 agents, subsidizing electric vehicles for the wealthy, and adding billions in new taxes on small businesses, the Democrats’ out of touch policies will affect every American household and restrict our economic freedoms. Hardworking Americans can no longer afford the Democrats’ radical tax-and-spend agenda and I adamantly opposed this reckless spending bill that will do nothing to reduce inflation but will instead add billions in new climate spending and exacerbate the economic stagnation in this country.

Touring TX-25 Wildfire Areas

This week I saw firsthand the impact the Texas wildfires had on TX-25’s community. I learned more about the wildfire recovery efforts in Bosque and Somervell Counties and the work that needs to be done to fully recover. Thank you to the volunteers, Texas Forest Service, and US Forest Service for your work to fully contain the fires and help residents in the communities.

Meeting with a Local Small Business 

Great to meet with the owners of Bennett Office Supply to learn more about their full-service print shop and work to provide personalized printing services for clients in Cleburne, Texas. We addressed the challenges with supply chain shortages and increased costs of goods and my work to support them in the House Small Business Committee.
