Then, Washington Republicans added Joe’s district to their list of top targets, and dark-money GOP groups reserved $1.75 million worth of TV ad space to run vicious attack ads in Connecticut this fall.

Now, Joe’s opponent, Mike France, cozied up to Kevin McCarthy at a fundraiser in Greenwich last week, where he is sure to have raised TONS from deep-pocketed GOP donors.

John, we set a goal to raise $7,500 by tomorrow night to keep us in a strong position to win, and we’re still $3,500 away from hitting our goal. Can we count on you to chip in $10, $15, or more before midnight tomorrow night to help us close the gap and fight back against Joe’s extremist opponent?
