A couple days ago, I emailed you to share the good news that our campaign had its strongest fundraising of the month.

Since then, our fundraising has fallen back to levels we saw in early August – raising far less than our campaign projected. To counteract this slower performance, I’m launching our most ambitious mid-month fundraising goal yet.

The outcome on Election Day will depend on how hard our campaign pushes in the months leading up to it. I need to ask, can you chip in to help us reach our $6,000 mid-month fundraising goal?

— Election forecasters everywhere have labeled this district as one of the closest toss-ups in the country.

— I’m running against April Becker, a known conspiracy theorist who tried to overturn the results of her last State Senate election by filing two lawsuits.

— Recent polls have shown our campaign and April Becker in a dead heat. I’m doing everything I can to help us pull away with a lead but I need your support.

— Now, we have an urgent mid-month goal in front of us and whether we reach it may determine the outcome of this election.
