Hi there, I’m sure you’re enjoying your Sunday, so I’ll keep this short.

But after a busy week in the Senate, passing some incredibly important pieces of legislation, I can’t help but think how important it is we hold onto our Democratic majorities.

This year alone, we’ve been able to pass bills to combat the climate crisis, reduce costs for working families, create factories and research facilities in key industries in the US, and so much more.

But if we lose this majority, Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans could turn the chamber back into a legislative graveyard and roll back on all of our progress.

The strides we’ve made to make this country work for working families, not corporations or lobbyists, could be erased on Day 1 of a McConnell-controlled Senate. Which is why it’s so important that we keep that from happening.
