This past Monday, Elise issued a statement regarding the FBI's corrupt raid at the Mar-a-Lago home of President Donald Trump and demanded an immediate investigation and accountability into the Biden administration’s weaponizing of the FBI and the DOJ.

"The FBI's raid on President Trump's Florida home is a dark day in American history. The political weaponization of the FBI and Department of Justice is an actual threat to democracy.


There is a reason that Americans no longer trust these agencies. This is the same corrupt agency that illegally fabricated FISA warrants, knowingly deceived Americans about Russian' collusion' for years, and weaponized itself to perpetuate this hoax with their all-too-eager mainstream media accomplices. This is the same agency that protected Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and continues to lie to protect Hunter Biden. This is the same agency that refuses to provide accountability and transparency into the deadly limo crash in Schoharie County in my district.


There must be an immediate investigation and accountability into Joe Biden and his Administration’s weaponizing this department against their political opponents – the likely 2024 Republican candidate for President of the United States.”

Elise and GOP Officials Stand United with NY Farmers Against Hochul’s War on Rural America
On Monday, Elise joined New York Republican nominee for Governor Lee Zeldin, Senator Peter Oberacker, Assemblyman Chris Tague, Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh, Republican candidate Marc Molinaro (NY-19), and Republican candidate Liz Joy (NY-20) to stand united with local New York farms against Kathy Hochul’s proposal to lower the farm laborer overtime threshold.


In her remarks, Elise called out the devastating impact that Kathy Hochul’s proposed reduction would have on farmers, food security, and families across New York, and promised that Hochul’s war on rural New Yorkers would have a price to pay at the ballot box. Watch Elise’s full speech

Elise Receives Record Number of Endorsements from Elected Officials in Clinton County

This week, Elise announced that she had received a record 61 endorsements from elected officials across Clinton County, including 53 Republicans, 1 Independent, and 7 Democrats. In a statement released on Wednesday, Elise said:

"I'm thankful to earn the support and endorsement of each of these local elected officials in Clinton County. Clinton County families know that I have worked tirelessly to deliver real results for our community, and I will continue to work with anyone, regardless of party, to deliver for North Country and Upstate New York families, small businesses, veterans, and seniors."

Elise Helps Introduce Responsible Alternative to Biden's Student Loan Scheme
Elise recently announced the introduction of the Responsible Education Assistance Through Loan Reforms Act. The bill would benefit students and borrowers in the U.S. federal loan system by addressing holes in the broken program and offering fiscally responsible reforms as opposed to Joe Biden and Far-Left Democrats’ student loan scheme. Elise and her House GOP colleagues who introduced the bill said in part:

"The Biden administration has been engaging in mass student loan forgiveness behind Americans' backs without the authorization of Congress. In total, to date, the President has already forgiven, waived, or canceled at least $217 billion in student loans through the unlawful abuse of his executive pen. Instead of placing the burden of this broken student loan system on the shoulders of American taxpayers, we are introducing this bill to fix the system."

Elise Receives Briefing from Law Enforcement in Washington County on the Fentanyl Crisis

Elise took part in a briefing hosted by the Washington County Sheriff's Department to discuss how to continue to address the Fentanyl crisis in NY-21. During the meeting, Elise spoke with local law enforcement about Washington County's Overdose Response Dashboard and Narcotic Task Force. Elise said:

"Fentanyl is the leading cause of death in Americans aged 18-45, and it is devastating to see it increasingly take a toll on our communities with horrific loss of precious lives. I am incredibly thankful for our brave law enforcement and first responders who put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe in the midst of this epidemic. Today, I was able to hear directly from our law enforcement, so I can take their concerns and ideas on addressing this crisis to the highest levels. In addition to securing our southern border to end the flow of this lethal drug into our communities, I am committed to making sure our first responders, families, and communities have the resources they need to combat this crisis."





Elise Visits the Franklin County Fair
On Tuesday, Elise visited the Franklin County fair in Malone with State Senator Dan Stec, New York State Assembly candidate Stephen Chilton, and fellow Republican candidates to speak with voters and tour the fairgrounds.



Elise Secures Grants for Adirondack Historical Association and Funding for North Country Universities
Elise recently announced that the Adirondack Historical Association would receive nearly $1 million in grant and grant matches, including $250,000 from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and that Clarkson University and St. Lawrence University had been awarded over $500,000 in funding from the U.S. Department of Education's Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program. Elise said:

"I am announcing that $250,000 in taxpayer dollars will return to our district to support the work of the Adirondack Historical Association. This funding will help showcase the creativity of our communities and beauty of the Adirondack Style as part of the Artists & Inspiration in the Wild Exhibition."


Regarding the funding for the universities, Elise stated:

"As a member of the House Committee on Education and Labor, ensuring our students are prepared for higher education is a top priority of mine. These funds will return to our district to prepare under-represented and economically disadvantaged students at Clarkson University and St. Lawrence University for doctoral studies through involvement in research and other scholarly activities."

Elise Joins Fox and Friends to Discuss Biden's Corrupt FBI Raid on President Trump & House Democrats’ Inflation Expansion Act
On Friday, Elise joined Fox News Fox and Friends to discuss Biden's corrupt FBI raid on President Trump and House Democrats’ Inflation Expansion Act. Elise said:

“House Republicans are going to follow the facts and demand accountability and transparency. The statement by Attorney General Merrick Garland is not nearly enough. The American people deserve to know all aspects and all details.”
