Governor Hogan Promotes An America United’s Plan Of Action For Safer Communities On Midwest Tour

This week, Governor Hogan toured Nebraska and Iowa to meet with first responders and law enforcement to promote An America United’s plan to address skyrocketing violent crime across our country by re-funding the police, holding violent criminals accountable, combating the opioid crisis and securing the border.

In Maryland, Governor Hogan has been a national leader in supporting our men and women in law enforcement, as well as an example of how we can advocate for common sense proposals that crack down on violent crime and provide support to victims.

In The News:

FOX News: “Republican Gov. Larry Hogan of Maryland heads to the Iowa State Fair on Thursday, as part of a jam-packed two-day visit to the state…The governor will showcase a crime and law enforcement plan during this trip. Details of the proposals were shared first with Fox News on the eve of his Iowa arrival.”

KETV: "Gov. Larry Hogan (R-MD) met with law enforcement in Omaha, pushing a "refund the police" message."

Daily Caller: “The crime-stopping proposal includes provisions to refund police, hold violent criminals accountable, secure the southern border and combat the opioid crisis. Hogan has previously touted his efforts to increase funding for Maryland law enforcement, despite Democratic efforts to kneecap those policies.”
