When it comes to emails, I’m probably a lot like you: Every day I get messages like this from campaigns asking for my support. 

I understand it might be hard to see how just one contribution could make a difference in this campaign. That’s why I want to take a minute to explain why your $5 is so important.

As you know, our race will be one of the closest in the country: A recent poll had us down by 2%, and Donald Trump endorsed a GOP-extremist against me, who just won the Republican primary.

National Republicans and outside groups have already spent millions attacking me, and with this news, you can be sure millions more are coming. We’re in for a tough fight — and that’s why your support is so critical right now.

When you make your $5 contribution, that money will immediately be put to work to reach voters across Arizona.

Whether it’s running television ads, sending mailers, or getting out in the field to knock doors, we can’t meet voters where they are without grassroots supporters like you who fuel our campaign.

So, I have to ask:

Can you please split a $5 contribution between me and Jacky Rosen before our mid-month fundraising deadline comes to an end? We really need to stay on track to hold this seat in November.
