22 Republican Governors Blast Democrats’ Spending Bill, Warn About Impact On Inflation In a statement, a group of nearly two dozen Republican governors slammed President Biden and the Democrats’ massive spending bill that was rammed through the Senate last week.
According to the governors: “Our citizens cannot afford Joe Biden’s broken promises on taxes and Democrats’ inflationary spending that will only exacerbate the economic crisis they created.”
Dems Poised To Make IRS Larger Than Pentagon, State Department, FBI, and Border Patrol Combined With the Democrats’ passage of the ironically named “Inflation Reduction Act,” the IRS will receive $80 billion in funding to hire up to 87,000 new employees. This increase will more than double the size of the nation’s tax collector, meaning it will be larger than the Pentagon, State Department, and Border Patrol combined.
Republican Governors Urge Biden To Lift
COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate For Foreign Travelers To US In a letter, a group of 17 Republican governors this week urged President Biden to immediately lift his COVID-19 vaccine mandate for international travelers into the U.S., given that his administration no longer requires masks or testing for air travel. The governors wrote, “Why are you insisting on stringent vaccine requirements for legal temporary travelers but not for illegal immigrants who are attempting to stay in our country permanently?”

Greg Abbott slammed NYC Mayor Eric Adams this week for complaining about the small number of illegal immigrants that have been bussed into his city from Texas, the state that has been forced to bear the brunt of President Biden’s border crisis. Gov. Abbott: “What’s horrific is the thousands of illegal immigrants overrunning and overwhelming our border communities with populations smaller than a New York City borough, and Mayor Adams is hypocritically upset about welcoming a few dozen into his sanctuary city.”
