Dear John,
Recently we shared exciting news of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society’s expanding fleet with the addition of the MV Sharkwater, a storied vessel that will enable us to expand our direct action campaigns to address the greatest threats to our oceans.
And in Mexico there is a new wave of hope as the vaquita porpoise demonstrates its resilience to survive. We are doubling-down on our commitment to fight for the protection of the critically endangered vaquita -- a species that would be extinct if not for Sea Shepherd’s efforts.
This important work is only possible because of you.
We are so grateful for the support that has poured in from more than 800 donors who have answered the Matching Gift Challenge from the Ruth Stanton Foundation and William C. Bannerman Foundation. THANK YOU for continuing to stand by our side on the front lines of ocean conservation!
There is still time to make a gift to Sea Shepherd Conservation Society before the Challenge ends tomorrow. Any gift would be of tremendous help and would be put to immediate use.
Year after year and day in and day out, Sea Shepherd is committed to protecting endangered marine wildlife in some of the most fragile ecosystems in the world. You can count on us to go where others will not.
Please make a gift to Sea Shepherd before August 15 to help us protect the vaquita and all marine wildlife, without exception.
