John,

Team Adkins had a busy week on the campaign trail from Bonner Springs on Tuesday night with the Wyandotte County Republican Women to Franklin County on Wednesday in Ottawa! We’ve been placing signs, knocking doors, and making phone calls to voters all over KS-03. Election Day is just less than 3 months away and we’re working non-stop to win in November.
New Poll
A new poll this week revealed that the race for KS-03 is heating up. But there’s good news - we’re ahead! Our race was highlighted as one of six crucial races against vulnerable Democrats across the U.S. The road to taking back the House truly does run right through our district, and we're projected to win.

The poll found that I am leading Sharice Davids by just 1 point. That means every door, dollar, and yard sign will make a difference come November. Read the poll results here.
Inflation Reduction Act
Sharice Davids just voted for the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” on Friday. Unfortunately, the bill does not live up to its name. The bill would actually increase inflation until 2024 and has almost no effect on inflation in the short term. It’s another tax and spend bill coming out of Washington that will do nothing to solve the economic hardships KS-03 families, individuals, and businesses are dealing with everyday.

To read my full thoughts on the bill, visit www.amandaadkins.com/so-called-ira/.

We also put out a press release on the bill yesterday afternoon: www.amandaadkins.com/inflation-reduction-act-statement/.
Insider Trading
In a robocall sent out last week to KS-03, Sharice Davids claimed to be fighting insider trading in Washington. The truth? Davids owned thousands of dollars in green energy stock while "in a clear position to implement policy that impacts her investments." Listen to the clip of her voicemail and read The Free Beacon’s article -->
Franklin County
I spent Wednesday meeting with voters and community leaders in Franklin County to hear their concerns and discuss my priorities in Congress. I had the privilege of visiting with folks at the Franklin County Farm Bureau meeting, answering questions over lunch at the PrimeTime Grille, and discussing Franklin County voters' concerns on KOFO radio. I also had the opportunity to tour Advent Health's hospital and emergency room to discuss current and future healthcare needs for citizens south of the Kansas City Metro. And it's always fun to catch up with Carrie Barth and Rebecca Schmoe, Republican candidates for Kansas House in Districts 5 and 59!
Johnson County DA’s Endorsement
I was honored to be endorsed by Johnson County’s District Attorney, Steve Howe. Steve has been a friend and worked hard to keep Johnson County one of the safest places in the nation. He understands the connection between our open Southern border, crime, drugs, and safety. Read our full press release at https://www.amandaadkins.com/howe-endorsement/.
