Nottingham has the cleanest city air in the UK

The "UK's greenest towns and cities" report by Compare the Market has revealed that Nottingham has the cleanest city air in the country!

Thanks to measures such as long term investment into the city's public transport system and increased usage, upgrading all our buses to biogas or electric, tackling the issue of 'idling' vehicles and many more, we have managed to massively reduce our carbon emissions so much so that we are now the UKs cleanest city. It's no wonder we were crowned The Guardians Climate Champions [ [link removed] ] Award!

We are paving the way to a cleaner, greener future, and we hope other cities will follow our lead and take up some of our innovative methods to reduce carbon emissions. And for you, with the New Year fast approaching, what better time to fight climate change and transform your transport choices than now.

For more information about what we've been doing to clean up Nottingham's air, read our blog. [ [link removed] ]
