Hello Colorado Republicans -

This week, we had a very successful press conference at Mile High Station where every one of our statewide candidates, our nationally targeted Congressional candidates, and our State House and Senate leadership spoke about our Commitment to Colorado ([link removed]) . Many of our other Congressional, legislative, county candidates, and grassroots Republicans stood with us as well.

Together, we presented a united front - despite the diversity of our candidates - that will serve us well as we talk to voters about kitchen table issues at their doors this fall. I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this amazing team along with you and our tremendous candidates at every level.

Please take the time to watch our press conference ([link removed]) and learn more about exactly what our candidates are running on this year. Feel free to share widely! We need to show voters that Democrats have failed them, but go a step further and explain how we are willing to solve the problems together and build a better future for ALL of us.

Never surrender!

** Colorado GOP candidates appear as united front during election season news conference
------------------------------------------------------------
[link removed]
Durango Herald ([link removed]) : The head of the Colorado Republican Party touted the party’s slate of candidates as “problem-solvers” committed to lowering the cost of living and reducing crime, as the party prepares an election season push to snag offices currently held by Democrats.

“Unfortunately, the Democrats have consistently refused to solve Colorado’s worst problems, and they continue to make them worse,” GOP Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown said at a Tuesday’s news conference outside the Mile High Station event venue in Denver.

She said Democrats shut down schools unnecessarily, “hiked taxes and fees,” and allowed violent crime to rise.

“Colorado voters are independent-minded people, people like us who want the right to make choices in our own lives. Unless we’re doing something that hurts someone else, we should have the freedom to make our own way. People across the state tell me that Democrats have stifled these choices,” Burton Brown said.

Republicans were marking one year since they unveiled their “Commitment to Colorado ([link removed]) ” legislative package of over 40 bills they said prioritized affordability, safety and expanded educational choice. Five of those bills passed the Legislature.

** Burton Brown: Crime will change with different leaders
------------------------------------------------------------
Durango Herald: ([link removed]) In early May, my car was stolen from a parking lot. Two hours after I left it outside of a park, it was gone. Far too many Coloradans are familiar with this experience.

When the police arrived, they asked what else I had in my car. Fortunately, I had left a backpack with my laptop computer in it. The officer asked if I could use the “FindMy” app on my phone to get the location. When I pulled it up, my computer pinged in at a storage unit roughly 15 minutes away in Aurora.

The officers were able to track down my car through impressive detective work I won’t recount, but it was returned to me within two hours. It’s likely that the person who stole my car was working with a ring of car thieves who were hiding stolen vehicles in the storage unit. They had hammered my ignition and lock in order to steal the car, and drive it off.

While I am one of the lucky Coloradans who got my car back mostly intact, a record number of families are having their own experience with crime and stolen cars. The Denver murder rate is already exceeding 2021 numbers. Our state is No. 1 in the nation for auto theft. We’re No. 1 in the nation for bank robberies. Colorado is No. 2 for fentanyl overdose deaths. Violent crime and property crime is on the rise across our state – and it’s disproportionately rising compared to the nation.
