Here’s why it’s critical that we meet every fundraising goal between now and November.

Team,

When I started serving Colorado, folks called me the “accidental senator.” And I won my last midterm election race by just 1.7%.

Monday marks a critical mid-month fundraising deadline that will make or break my campaign’s fundraising for this month. After I voted to pass the Inflation Reduction Act to make wealthy corporations pay their fair share in taxes, lower prescription drug costs for seniors, and invest in fighting climate change, the target on my seat has only grown.

While Mitch McConnell focused on partisan obstruction in the Senate, the National GOP was running attack ads to distort my record in Colorado. This race is going to be tough — and that’s why it’s critical we meet every fundraising goal.

Right now, we’re experiencing the summer slump. This is typical of grassroots campaigns like ours that are powered by supporters who chip in $5 or $10 to emails like this one, and not corporate PACs or federal lobbyists. We knew to expect it as people get outdoors and enjoy their summers.

But at any moment, my opponent could write out a big check to his campaign, so I’m counting on 500 grassroots donors to pitch in Monday’s mid-month fundraising deadline.

Will you chip in $10 — or whatever you can afford right now — to the Bennet Defense Fund to help us meet our goal and sustain our grassroots momentum?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

We don’t have to outraise my self-funding GOP opponent dollar for dollar, but we need to stay on track with all of our fundraising goals.

So please, please chip in any amount before Monday’s mid-month fundraising deadline so I can keep delivering progress for Coloradans and working families across the nation.

Thank you and talk soon,

Michael
