The Government has been warned that councils in Northern Ireland are being left in a “legal and political quagmire” by plans to impose same-sex marriage early next year.

A sexual abuse survivor’s request to be seen by a female doctor when she went for a mammogram, was described as “highly discriminatory” by an NHS Trust.

“We should show mercy and show compassion to these women and offer them alternatives because there is always a better option than abortion”.
