As we’re sure you’ve heard, a few days ago an armed man, inspired by Republicans’ attacks on law enforcement, tried storming the FBI headquarters in Ohio, putting the lives of FBI agents and local police in jeopardy.
This attack is a direct result of the dangerous disinformation campaign led by Congressional Republicans against the FBI this week. They must condemn these attacks and acknowledge law enforcement for their heroism instead of slinging mud at them for simply doing their job.
We have seen time and again that Congressional Republicans’ so-called support for law enforcement never extends past their own political interest. Whether it’s January 6th or an armed attack at the FBI, they never fail to place party loyalty over the safety of police officers. It’s disqualifying.
