Democracy for America works to identify, recruit, train, staff, and elect
the next generation of leaders who are ready to fight for racial and
economic justice and DFA’s Night School is crucial to that work. That’s
why we’re excited to bring it back with four sessions taking place across
August and September.

Night School is our online campaign skills instruction, where some of the
savviest campaigners in the movement lead you and DFA members across the
nation through virtual trainings on field strategy, volunteer recruitment,
coalition-building, power mapping, paid/earned media and messaging,
finance planning, grassroots fundraising, and more.
The truth is, we aren't going to grow the progressive movement by relying
on old ideas, the same consultants, corporate money, or failed strategies.
You have the power to change America and give power back to the people.
We are kicking off our first Night School session since 2020 on Thursday,
August 25th where we’ll train you on how we run successful field
operations. Will you join DFA and progressives from around the country?

Whether it's Congress, state legislature, or city council a solid field
strategy is crucial.
Republican extremists spend millions of dollars every year to train and
elect far-right candidates in elections up and down the ballot. DFA was
founded to fight back, and since 2004, we've trained and elected 1,091
progressive candidates to office.
In 2022, if we're going to overcome Republicans’ well-funded operations,
we need to build a grassroots army that is prepared to elect progressive
champions. And that's why we're here to train you in how to do just that.
