John — Is there anything we can say to convince you to
contribute to Adam's campaign today? Even just $5?

What if we told you that despite our slim margins in Congress, we just
passed the biggest investment in our climate and renewable energy in our
country's history — while also allowing Medicare to negotiate the cost of
prescription drugs?

What if we told you that if we're able to keep our House majority, and
expand our majority in the Senate by just another 1-2 seats, we could do
even more?

That we could abolish the filibuster, codify Roe, raise the minimum wage,
and ban assault weapons? And make more climate investments?

Trump administration. In fact, Kevin McCarthy is already threatening to
strip Adam of his committee assignments if Republicans take the House, and
Donald Trump is tearing into Adam at every opportunity he has in front of
a microphone to rile up his extreme MAGA base.

No one would have thought that we would get so much done in a 50-50 Senate
and no margin for error. But we did.

The work of government is slow, and isn't pretty. But together, we've
passed the Inflation Reduction Act, the $1.9 trillion American Rescue
Plan, the $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the first gun
safety bill in 30 years, and the CHIPS and Science Act, which will invest
hundreds of billions of dollars into the manufacturing of the future right
here in the United States and help bring inflation down.

But this is just the beginning, and we’re clear-eyed about the stakes and
the possibilities of the next two years. If we’re able to protect and
expand our Democratic majorities this November, more progressive policies
will come to fruition and push our nation forward.
