- Put our nation on track to cut 40% of greenhouse gas emissions by 2030;
- Create 9 million good-paying clean energy jobs;
- Reduce energy bills for working families across the country;
- Lower health care premiums and prescription drug costs for million of Americans;
- Ensure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share
This moment is the culmination of many years of work across the movement — and it wouldn’t have been possible without activists, volunteers, and voters from every corner of this nation.
After decades of inaction, pressure from young people was crucial to get this historic legislation across the finish line. But we know that this is only the beginning, and more must be done to address the needs of frontline communities, working families, and future generations.
