Folks, I’m disgusted.

If you haven’t already heard, Senate Republicans voted down a measure that would have capped the cost of insulin at $35.

You read that right.

Republicans have proven yet again that they’re not interested in making life better for everyday Americans. When the opportunity to bring relief to those who depend on insulin to survive arose, Republicans said no.

I could not be more disgusted, but we have a chance to keep this from happening again.

With Election Day approaching, we have an opportunity to send leaders to Congress who are invested in making a change for the better. We can make health care affordable for everyone, and I’m committed to fighting my hardest for Alabama’s hardworking families.

But I can’t do this alone. Can I count on you to chip in to my re-election campaign so I can keep fighting for us in Congress?
