Earlier this month, a huge majority of Kansans soundly rejected a measure that would have removed the right to an abortion from their state’s constitution.
In deep-red Kansas, nearly 60% of voters rejected the measure. It wasn’t a narrow victory; it was a blowout. Democrats and Independents turned out in much higher than expected numbers in support of abortion rights, sending a booming message that voters are energized and excited about this crucial issue.
Staying on track with our goals is critical if we’re going to be able to harness that grassroots energy across the country to defend our House and Senate majorities. With multiple battleground House races in Minnesota and the fight for the Senate majority across the country, we must build our organizing capacity now, and Tina relies on this grassroots team to support her work.
Can you pitch in $5 or whatever you can afford right now? We’re a little behind this month, but there’s still time to catch up.
