You don't see my name in your inbox much, Friend, so hello! I'm Darby, Dean's fundraising coordinator.

Since we're officially post primary, I wanted to share a little update on where we're at with fundraising.

Overall, we're in a good spot -- but what worries me is the special interest money that's already being funneled into Dean's anti-choice, pro-gun Republican opponent. Unfortunately for us, the GOP is *very* well-funded, and we need to step it up this month if we're going to beat Dean's opponent at the ballot box this November.

If we raise $7,000 before Tuesday, we'll be even better equipped to keep going strong until Election Day. That will ensure we can continue door knocking, holding events, funding our ad campaign, and opening the Campaign Coffeehouse for community connections. Can you chip in today to help us with our mid-month fundraising goal?

One of the things that I admire most about Dean is his unwavering dedication to getting dark money out of politics. Sometimes relying entirely on grassroots support can be challenging, but his commitment to keeping the people front and center is one of the founding principles of this entire campaign.

If everyone on this team, including you, chipped in $15 before Tuesday, we'd go from "good" to "great" -- and on a personal level, you'd make my job a whole lot easier. Together, let's make sure we send Dean back to Washington in November!
