During his closing statement to the January 6th committee, Rep. Adam Schiff made it clear just how fragile our democracy can be.

He said: “That we have enjoyed a democracy for more than 200 years does not mean we will tomorrow. All of us must play a part in its preservation.”

Rep. Schiff couldn't be more right. With 361 bills in 47 states aimed at restricting voting rights since the start of 2022 alone, we're seeing the decimation of democracy all over the country. There's a widening gulf between the agenda of a GOP-led government and the will of the voters — a dynamic that is a death knell for any democracy.
