We have some bad news. In the latest round of modeling and analysis from FiveThirtyEight, Virginia’s 2nd district remains one of the closest races in the entire nation – but Republican Jen Kiggans has gained an edge over Congresswoman Elaine Luria.

Jen Kiggans, who is radically out of step with Virginians, seems to be tracking closer and closer to victory. We cannot lose Congresswoman Luria’s seat this year – with the GOP eager to regain power in the U.S. House, we can only imagine what Kevin McCarthy would do if he were given the speaker’s gavel.

We’re counting on every Virginia Democrat to help us turn this tide and defend this seat. This race is rated as leaning Republican, but we’ve still got time to get things back on track. Can we count on you to donate to Virginia Dems and help preserve Luria’s seat?
