You can always vote on Election Day, August 23rd. But if you can, you should vote early. Often lines are significantly shorter, and you never know what might come up on Election Day that could derail your plans.
Voting early is a great option — but you have to check two things before heading to the polls! You’ll want to check your voting location, because all New Yorkers are assigned just ONE Early Voting site. Second, be sure to check poll site hours, because they vary day by day.
