I was proud to vote to pass the Inflation Reduction Act in the House – to lower healthcare and prescription drug costs, advance climate solutions, and make corporations and the wealthy pay their fair share.
This is a historic win for working families, and we couldn’t have done it without the progressive organizing on the ground in Chicagoland and in every community across the country.
Together, not only did we flip the House, Senate, and White House, but we kept the pressure on and demanded that every elected leader put people over politics.
We have a lot more to get done, but this victory is proof of how powerful we are when we stand together. Now, we have to keep this momentum going!
