Far-right Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, is coming to New Mexico this weekend to join his friend Yvette Herrell for a rally in support of GOP gubernatorial candidate Mark Ronchetti.

DeSantis and Herrell are two extremist peas in a pod. DeSantis has earned a notoriously bad reputation for signing Florida’s ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill that harms LGBTQ+ students, banning books and school curriculum around racial justice and Black history, attacking voting rights, and opposing reproductive choice — in fact, he just suspended a prosecutor who pledged not to prosecute people under the new anti-choice bill DeSantis signed to criminalize abortion providers.

He and Herrell have both pledged their loyalty to Donald Trump and the MAGA caucus, spread dangerous conspiracy theories, and supported overturning the 2020 presidential election results.
