PURPLE HEART DAY IN SHELDON

This past Saturday, I was honored to celebrate Purple Heart Day in Sheldon by reading the names of each Purple Heart recipient and praying for our veterans.

Our veterans are heroes and I will always support the men and women who have sacrificed for our great nation.
MY VISIT TO MALLARD

Earlier this week, I met with Mayor Ron Larson in Mallard to discuss the Rural Water Project and other matters in the community.

I also spoke to a group of constituents who were drinking coffee nearby to hear their thoughts on the issues facing our country.
TOWN HALL WITH IOWA SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURE MIKE NAIG

On Monday, I hosted a town hall in Algona with Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig.

The topics included the upcoming Farm Bill, trade, and inflation. After, I joined Al Lauck to talk more about the upcoming Farm Bill and how we can deliver for Iowa farmers and producers.
MY VOTE AGAINST WASTEFUL SPENDING IN CONGRESS

President Biden and Democrats in Congress have once again doubled down on their wasteful tax-and-spend agenda that has created the worst inflation crisis in more than forty years and sent gas prices soaring. Their Inflation Expansion Act will throw more gasoline on the inflation fire, raise taxes on hardworking families, and send an army of 87,000 IRS agents after American families and small businesses. This radical bill will also supercharge the Democrats’ Green New Deal agenda without making our country energy independent again.

As a strong fiscal conservative, I cannot support legislation that will destroy our economy, harm small businesses, balloon our $30 trillion debt, and leave future generations with the tab. Our families, farmers, and small businesses cannot afford more spending, more taxes, and unchecked liberal control in our nation’s capital.
